As stated in Strategy 6 of the College's strategic plan, we strive to “Improve the College’s Visibility –Locally, Nationally and Globally.” One of the goals of Strategy 6 is to create a culture of faculty and staff recognition through the pursuit of prestigious awards in engineering societies and other important awards that recognize professional activities, as well as in the election to membership in national committees and academies.

In order to address that goal, we invite all faculty and staff to please send future professional achievements to accolades@eng.lsu.edu with 1-2 sentences with your name, title and award information would be helpful. If you have a photo of you receiving the award, please feel free to send a jpg file. The College’s Office of Communications will compile the faculty and staff accolades and present a collective acknowledgment quarterly to be published in E-News.
