LSU alumni Eddie and Jerry Rispone and their company, ISC, were recognized for their support during the Forever LSU campaign at an April 27 luncheon at the LSU Faculty Club. The Rispone brothers were presented with Forever LSU commemorative arches during the event.

Eddie (1972 B.S.) partnered with his alma mater, the College of Engineering’s Department of Construction Management & Industrial Engineering, to fund two professorships, one through ISC and another through a personal gift. Jerry (1985 B.S.) also partnered with his alma mater, the College of Engineering’s Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE), to fund two professorships, one through ISC and another through a personal gift. The Rispones have challenged their employees to support LSU, incentivizing that involvement by offering a dollar-for-dollar match of contributions. “LSU has done a good job working with our industry, so it is only appropriate that we support LSU in being our flagship university,” said Eddie Rispone.

In addition to providing philanthropic support to the College, Eddie is part of the Construction Industry Advisory Council and Jerry serves on the ECE Industry Advisory Board.

“LSU is fortunate to have such individuals as Eddie and Jerry Rispone, who have invested so significantly to build a better LSU,” said Rick Koubek, dean, College of Engineering. “Their support on the engineering advisory boards and generous financial support will allow us to recruit and retain the very best faculty for LSU. They are truly investing in the next generation of the LSU Engineer.”

Jerry Rispone stated, “I am very impressed with the strides LSU has made in becoming a top-tier university and I am passionate about giving our best and brightest students a university of this caliber in Louisiana.”

ISC, co-founded by the Rispones, is one of the nation's largest electrical and instrumentation construction and engineering firms. The company is headquartered in Baton Rouge, with offices in Houston and Beaumont, Texas. ISC directly employs approximately 2,100 associates, more than 40 of whom are LSU graduates.
