The College of Engineering hosted its seventh annual alumni reunion on November 13, 2009. The reunion took place from 6:30 to 8:30pm in the lobby of Patrick F. Several departments held pre-reunion receptions or events for their alumni, including the Office for Diversity, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and the Craft & Hawkins Department of Petroleum Engineering. All guests finally convened in the lobby and enjoyed food catered by Jambalaya by Shake and great conversation.

Ten LSU engineering student organizations and teams demonstrated their latest projects and designs including:

Several lab tours were also available to alumni during the evening including: the Biological & Agricultural Engineering Lab, Chemical Engineering Lab, CeROM Lab, Civil & Environmental Engineering Structures and Mechanics Lab, Construction Management & Industrial Engineering’s Ergonomics and Biomechanics Lab. The Engineering Communications Studio held tours throughout the evening, as well as an open house. The alumni reunion event ended with the drawing of door prizes.
