LSU College of Engineering (CoE) alumni from Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C. gathered for a reception March 26th at the Tower Club at Tyson’s Corner in Vienna, Virginia.

The event was hosted by mechanical engineering alumnus Sid Fuchs, President and CEO of OAO Technology Solutions, Inc., and the LSU College of Engineering. Mr. Fuchs welcomed the group and offered introductions. Dean Zaki Bassiouni spoke about the state of the College and new initiatives and programs. Mechanical Engineering Department Chairman Dr. Glenn Sinclair addressed the group on developments in his department. A campaign video was viewed by the audience, and Don Eisenberg spoke briefly about the Forever LSU campaign and opportunities for investment in engineering education at LSU.

Guests enjoyed delicious appetizers and cocktails and door prizes were awarded.  This is CoE’s first reception in the D.C. area in many years.  Everyone in attendance enjoyed visiting with other LSU CoE alumni.
