Rafael Luna, author and founder of Luna Scientific Storytelling, will deliver a keynote address, “The Power of Academic Storytelling.” Luna is the author of The Art of Scientific Storytelling: Transform Your Research Manuscript with a Step-by-Step Formula (Amado International, 2013). Faculty members and graduate students publish thousands of research articles each year. These articles are written to have an impact on the academic community and to be cited by others. By communicating one’s research through the power of academic storytelling, the visibility of your research increases. This keynote lecture explores the logic of narrative craft and adapting it to one’s academic work.
