LSU Space Day 2014 is an educational outreach event targeting middle school students, specifically those in seventh and eighth grade. The goal is to encourage and inspire grade school students to learn about science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) by participating in age appropriate, space-themed activities throughout the day. Space Day is further aimed at encouraging students to consider careers in engineering and highlight the many unique opportunities at LSU’s College of Engineering and College of Science.
